Rum Manhattan

A twist on the classic Manhattan made by Jonathan Di Vincenzo and served at The Noble Experiment in Santarcangelo di Romagna, in which the voluptuous soul of Vermouth 721 enhances the warm Caribbean profiles of Rum Abuelo 12.

Ingredients

• 3,5 cl Vermouth 721
• 4,5 cl of Ron Abuelo 12
• 2 dashes of homemade chocolate bitter

GARNISH

• 1 grapefruit zest dehydrated and osmotized in absinthe
• Turmeric powder

Execution

In a mixing glass, we combine rum, vermouth, and chocolate bitters, which we stir together with ice to cool the cocktail and release the aromatic notes of the 721.

Once the aromatic balance has been achieved, we take a chilled glass, dusted externally with turmeric, inside which we pour the strained cocktail with a strainer.

To finish, garnish with dehydrated grapefruit zest osmotized in absinthe, completing both the olfactory and taste profiles of the cocktail.
